Maroon 5 were forced to cancel a show in Liverpool on Friday (May 29) after Levine was placed on vocal rest by doctors.
The video shows frontman Adam Levine getting ready to perform backstage before joining the rest of the band, where they put on a spectacular stage show for the waiting crowds.
'This Summer's Gonna Hurt' is being unveiled to promote the re-release of Maroon 5's smash hit album .
The video was directed by Levine and photographer Travis Schneider, and the singer later took to Twitter to share the news of its release.
