He found fame as a reality TV show star while she is as well known for her personal life as she is for her acting abilities.
But although Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan rarely find a red carpet event they don't want to attend, the couple kept a decidedly low-profile as they arrived back at their Essex home on Monday, following their wedding on Sunday.
Mr and Mrs Wright went to great lengths to avoid being photographed, no doubt in order to protect their rumoured £1 million glossy magazine deal, even roping in family and friends to help them out.

Why so shy? Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan both tried to get into their Essex home on Monday without being seen after their Sunday wedding
Happy to pose: Mark and Michelle are usually much happier to pose for pictures (such as here at the British Soap Awards in 2013), but it has been reported they have a glossy magazine deal in place for their wedding
While a large white marquee kept prying eyes (and cameras) away from the church they tied the knot in in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday, they opted for a more makeshift barrier on Monday.
A suit jacket was held up to the window of the car, an attempt to keep the pair hidden.
And Michelle raised her hands to her face, but all that did was give everyone a clear look at her diamond ring.
Blushing bride: Michelle showed off her huge diamond sparkler and what looked like her watch from Mark as she arrived back at her home
That's a new one: The pair hung a suit jacket out the window in order to ensure no one spotted them
Mrs Wright: Michelle has previously revealed that she is taking Mark's name after the wedding
While Michelle sat in the car, Mark headed inside, flanked by a male friend.
The public may not be able to see wh! at happened at the wedding until the glossy magazine spread hits newsstands, but that didn't stop plenty of information leaking out about the wedding, including claims that Mark was a complete and utter groomzilla.
While Michelle, 27, has reportedly been the 'dream bride', 28-year-old Mark is said to have turned into something of a groomzilla as he tried to blag freebies and keep the cost of the big day down.

Was he a gr! oomzilla? Recent reports claimed Mark was a demanding groom while Miche! lle was a dream
'Mark has been incredibly demanding', a source told the Sunday Mirror. 'He's even compared himself to George Clooney and said Adele would be prepared to sing at ceremony.
'He seemed to expect everything handed to him on a plate or on the cheap because of his celebrity status.'
The couple reportedly forked out on matching £25k Rolex watches as pre-wedding gifts.
A source told The Sun: 'Some might say matching watches are a bit tacky, but these aren't just cheap knock-offs. They'll last them a lifetime, like they hope their marriage will.'
And of course the day itself wasn't without drama, as according toThe Sun, the hunky TV personality's emotions ran the spectrum from nervousness, as his wife-to-be kept him waiting for an extra ! 30 minutes, to tears of joy once she finally arrived.
More hi-tech: A large marquee hid the church from prying eyes on Sunday
A source said: 'He was very wobbly standing at the altar. There was nervousness in the air, but when she arrived a tear streamed down his cheek and his face was beaming.
'She didn't cry though, as Northern lasses don't get as soppy as Essex boys. They both looked really happy.'
The Sun reported that a security team stood on high alert at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, over fears Mark's former g! irlfriend of 10 years, Lauren Goodger, would show up uninvited - with mutual friend James Argent tasked to handle the situation if she did.
I thee wept: Mark is reported to have shed a tear when he tied the knot with Michelle in Suffolk on Sunday afternoon
'There were real worries about Lauren as she has been very vocal and is an unpredictable character. Mark and his family raised this with security as they know she can be a loose cannon.'
However, a representative for Mark has dismi! ssed the report, insisting there's 'no truth at all' in it whe! n contacted by MailOnline.
In the early hours of Friday morning, former Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren took to her Instagram account to share a post seemingly alluding to the idea that she's Mark's 'one who got away'.

Is she the one who got away? Lauren's post appeared to suggest that she's the one who got away
Glamour girl: Later in the day, the TV personality followed up with a caption-free glamour shot of herself
The words, set over a pink background, read: 'She's the kind of girl a guy meets when he's too young, and f***s up because there's too much living to do. But later he realises she's perfect.'
Lauren, who broke up with TV personality Mark in 2011 after 10 years of dating, simply captioned the image: 'Love this.'
Her post echoed another uploaded to her account on the photo-sharing site back in August, almost a year after it was announced that her ex Mark and his new love Michelle were set to wed.
It read: 'I'm not going to be the girl you marry, but I'll be the girl you'll be thinking of 20 years from now while you engage in polite sex with your boring wife who fakes her orgasm to make you feel better about your receding hairline.'
Mark and Lauren famousl! y had a stormy on/off 10-year relationship during their teens and early 20s, before becoming engaged in a pub car park in March 2011.
They ended up splitting August 2011, with Mark accusing Lauren of cheating on him - while it was alleged that he hooked up with his ex Lucy Mecklenburgh in Marbella three months earlier.
Sticks and stones: Back in August, she uploaded another eyebrow-raising post to the picture-sharing site
