What began with a sigh from Simon Cowell quickly turned into a standing ovation and four yeses as Old Men Grooving demonstrated their dancing skills and, in the words of David Walliams, made dad dancing cool.
After their audition, Alesha Dixon led the comments from the judges, saying: "It was humorous, it was lively, it was entertaining, it was spot-on!"
A member of the audience had his own opinion of the performance, however, dubbing it an example of "classic Britain's Got Talent".
