A gushing tulle fishtail completes the gown, which she reportedly matched with an Italian veil from designer Peter Langner.

Mark is thought to have openly wept as he watched Michelle walk the aisle, and the former Coronation Street star recalled catching sight of him in his  tuxedo suit and bow tie as he waited at the alter.

Earlier this year the actress admitted that she drew inspiration from the Oscar de la Renta gown worn by human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin for her wedding to Hollywood star George Clooney.

'She looked amazing, gorgeous,' she told the Mirror in February. 'That was the one that stood out for me. I couldn't find one that I really liked so instead I took inspiration from various aspects of dresses I loved and it's been made for me. But I haven't tried it on yet. My fitting is this month.'
