On Monday night's (April 20) show, the 52-year-old revealed that his last day will be on August 6.

In a recent interview, Stewart explained that he decided to because he was no longer getting "the same satisfaction" from it.
"Life doesn't really work that way, with a finger pointing at you out of the sky, saying, 'Leave now'," he said. "That only happens when you're fired, and trust me, I know about that.
"It's not like I thought the show wasn't working any more, or that I didn't know how to do it. It was more, 'Yup, it's working, but I'm not getting the same satisfaction'."
Stewart added that he has chosen to leave before the 2016 Presidential Election because he sees the US political system as "increasingly redundant".
The host announced his back in February and will be replaced by Trevor Noah.
