In addition to the release date announcement, the indie developer has confirmed that a PlayStation Vita version of the side-scrolling adventure title is also in the works.
Axiom Verge originally launched earlier this year on PlayStation 4.
It revolves around a scientist named Trace, who wakes up after a lab accident in an alien world.
Players are tasked with helping Trace uncover the mystery of how that world came to the state it's in and his role in it.
