A specific date for Europe is yet to be revealed, but North America is getting the game on December 4.
In addition to the launch announcement, Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming role-playing title.
Amid an intergalactic war between aliens and human survivors, players fight for survival while exploring an unknown planet.
The game includes weaponised mechs called 'Skells', which let players access every location they see.
Players can also customise a lethal skill set of combat and defensive skills called Arts to strengthen their strategies and defeat enemies.

The announcement was made during Nintendo's Digital Event at E3 2015.
