Ste, who has mainly been dating guys over the last few years, recently welcomed a baby girl with best friend Sinead following a one-night stand.

Wednesday's E4 first look episode saw Ste overhear Sinead admitting that she's in love with him, leading Ste to question his feelings for his friend and consider starting a relationship with her.
"Ste is feeling confused again," Richardson shared. "He can't deny the fact that he has been with lots of girls in the past, and then in comes Sinead while Ste is still married to John Paul, so it's very confusing.
"They've been so close as friends, I think he's confused at the moment going, 'Oh, well yeah, I love this girl completely but do I fancy her or is it just love as a sisterly love, a brotherly love?'"

Sinead asks Ste to move in
On her character Sinead, Davis added: "I think Sinead definitely does want Ste and it's not just that she wants a boyfriend. In the past, yeah maybe, but now it's only Ste, she's only got eyes for Ste, she's madly in love with him.
"Sinead always gets what she wants. I think it's going to take a lot of pursuing, wining and dining and pushing Ste but I think... well, yeah, we'll wait and see!"
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
