Zayn Malik proved his fan-base hasn't diminished in the weeks following his shock departure from One Direction during an appearance in Paris on Wednesday afternoon.
The star was in attendance as Italian brand Valentino unveiled their Spring-Summer 2016 menswear collection with guests including fellow singer Joe Jonas.
But he found his progress hindered by adoring fans eager for selfies and autographs as he made his way inside.

Sporting a smart knee-length jacket over his crisp white shirt and high-slung dress trousers, Zayn cut a dapper figure as he posed for photos - even getting a cheeky kiss from one lucky fan in the process.
The 22-year-old – who was without Little Mix fiancée Perrie Edwards – once again showed off his white buzz cut - just days after debuting it on social media.
Taking to Twitter Zayn posted a selfie from his car, simply captioning the image: 'White hair'.
The singer added that he's also tried out another shade this week, tweeting: 'Had it purple yesterday ha trying em all out ha.'

It was Perrie who revealed that colour change, as she shared an image of the couple cuddling up to one another on her social media sites. '#GreenHairDontCare,' she captioned the snap.
The singer told The Sun that her man quickly ditched the green, confessing of her boyfriend's do: 'It's not even green any more. I think i! t's orange now. He just keeps changing it up. He'll probably shave it off next week and then it will be back to normal.'
