VH1 was working on bringing the series back, ten years after the original run ended on MTV.
Matriarch revealed that the show was returning for about eight episodes last year, which would serve as a "catch-up" on the family's lives.
But VH1's exec vp of original programming and production Susan Levison has told The Hollywood Reporter that the revival is no longer happening.
"We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that's not going to happen," she explained.
"We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn't come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We'd love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future."
MTV and VH1 are sister networks under the Viacom conglomerate. The Osbournes originally aired on MTV for four seasons from 2002 to 2005.
Earlier this month it emerged that Jack Osbourne was taking several companies he partially owns to court, claiming they were demanding payment for the episodes of the new series.
