HBO's new dark comedy The Brink only debuted last month but it's already been renewed. 
The show is centred around a geological crisis and how it affects three "disparate and desperate" men.
The series, starring , Tim Robbins and Pablo Schreiber, will be back on the network for a second season.

Robbins plays US secretary of state Walter Hollander, who has little to no patience for war mongers in the government's Situation Room.
Black portrays Alex Coppins, a low-ranking foreign service officer who finds himself caught in the middle of the action, while Schreiber appears as Zeke Tilson, an ace Navy fighter pilot.
The Brink was developed by executive producers Jerry Weintraub, Jay Roach and Roberto Benabib.
